Assistant Coach Ryan Lorber joined the MCC Baseball coaching staff Fall 2021 as the catching coach and assistant hitting coach.

Coach Lorber is a 2016 Davenport Central High School graduate. He earned First Team All-Metro and Second Team All-District in 2016.

He attended and played baseball at Blackhawk Community College in 2017 and 2018. During his time there he received 2018 First Team Arrowhead All-Conference and was a member of the 2017 and 2018 Arrowhead Conference Championship teams. He graduated in 2018.

He transferred and graduated from Grand Valley State University in 2021 where he caught for 57 games.

Coach Lorber coached for Michigan Premier Travel Baseball team in 2020 and 2021 along with giving catching and hitting lessons through Baseball Concepts in Holland, MI during that same time.

Along with his coaching position at MCC, Lorber does the athletic field maintenance
