Anthony Everman

Anthony Everman was hired to lead the Tiger Baseball Program on July 15th, 2018, after serving as the Head Coach at Benedictine College.

Everman's coaching experience includes stints at Division I schools - Virginia Tech, Kansas State University, Arkansas State University, and the University of Northern Colorado. He has also coached at the NJCAA, NAIA, and D3 levels.

During Coach Everman’s tenure at Benedictine, the Ravens won 82 games highlighted by the 2017 season, when the Ravens won 35 games and finished 22-10 in the conference. His Raven teams also had 10 All-Conference players, 1 MLB Draft pick, and broke numerous team and individual records in his 3 seasons in Atchison, Kansas.

Everman’s time at MCC has produced 53 Tiger victories, 20 All-Region selections, and has seen 33 players move on to 4 year institutions.

In addition to his collegiate coaching background experience, Coach Everman is currently serving as an Associate Scout for the Oakland A's, and has previously worked for the Cleveland Guardians in a similar role.

Everman also serves as the Head of Grounds at MCC. He and his wife Taylor reside in Marshalltown and they have two children, Trent and Anna.

  • Renovated indoor batting cages with punch pad access for all players.
  • New backstop netting for better fan experience and new fencing around the entire facility, including new bullpens.
  • Former assistants have moved on to Division 1, Driveline & Professional Baseball, including Connor Dawson, current MLB Hitting Coach for the Milwaukee Brewers.
