The Marshalltown Community College Cheer and Dance team will be hosting two youth camps. The camps will be held on Saturday, Jan. 22 and Saturday, Feb. 5 from 9 am to noon at the Student Activity Center.
The Jan. 22 camp will be held for girls in 1st – 3rd graders and the Feb. 5 group will be for campers 4th – 6th graders. Both camps will run from 9 am to noon.
Campers will then return at 2:30 pm and will perform at halftime of the 3 pm MCC basketball games. Jan. 22nd, MCC men's basketball will be hosing Southeastern Community College and Feb. 5th MCC men will host Kankakee Community College.
Campers will receive individual instruction on learning dance routines, cheers, chants, and much more. Each camper will receive a t-shirt, free admission into the game and a MCC dance team poster.
Discounted ticket prices for each game will be available at the time of registration. Discounted prices consist of $4.00 for adults and $2.00 for students. Children under the age of 12, along with campers, receive free admission.
