Marshalltown Community College freshman, Trey Sinegal from Houston, TX, has been named Iowa Community College Athletic Conference (ICCAC) Athlete of the Week for the week of Feb. 7-13.  

Playing Grandview JV to start the week for the MCC Tigers, Sinegal just missed having a double-double. He scored 18 points on 50% shooting, while grabbing nine rebounds off the glass. He led the Tigers in scoring and blocks in their 81-72 win. 

Coming off a win, MCC took on Highland Community College, where Sinegal came off the bench and led the team in scoring yet again after putting up 20 points. In the 30 minutes he played, he shot 6-9 from the field, along with 3-4 from three-point range. Sinegal closed the game with a handful of rebounds and a pair of steals to win 81-70.
