Hi, my name is Ella, I’m born and raised in Des Moines, IA. My mom is also from Des Moines and my dad is from Kansas City, MO. I have a 7-year-old little brother. I have 3 cats back home. My favorite movie is Coraline, and my favorite TV show is Gilmore Girls. I listen to almost every type of music genre, but my favorite artist of all time is Kanye West, and my favorite song of all time is Missed Calls by Mac Miller. Outside of basketball and school I like to paint and longboard with my best friend Peyton.

My favorite part about MCC is definitely my basketball team. I chose to attend MCC because I wanted an opportunity to play basketball after high school. My most memorable moment in athletics was my junior year of high school when my team made it to state for the first time in 13 years, it was a huge deal for the metro school district. My goals as an athlete, are to become the best version of myself not only on the court but in life as well. I want to grow my mind and grow physically as well. My major is broadcasting and sports media, after my basketball career is over I either want to be a sports broadcaster or an interior designer.
