Marshalltown Community College soccer's Emma Long has been named Iowa Community College Athletic Conference (ICCAC) Athlete of the Week for the week of Oct. 3-9.
MCC tied 3-3 with Dakota County on Thursday, Oct. 6 due to the offensive performance by Long. She scored all three goals for the Tigers. She scored back-to-back goals in the 22nd and 29th minutes after trailing 2-0.
She scored again with the game tying goal in the 83rd minute to give the Tigers a 3-3 tie. Long as scored six goals this season.
Three regular games remain for the Tiger women's soccer team before the start of the Region XI Tournament on Oct. 23,
