MCC men fall at Kirkwood

The Marshalltown Community College men's basketball team faced Kirkwood Community College for the second time this season in Cedar Rapids, falling 89-73.

The Tigers were down just nine points going into the half at 44-35 but couldn't close the gap. Jaylin Scott led the Tigers with 28 points shooting 7 for 11 from the three point range. Eric Amandio followed scoring 13 points and Caleb Jacobs had 11. Amandio and Craig Philip led the team in rebounds with six boards each. 

MCC will be on the road this weekend for the Bowling RV Classic in Ottumwa, IA. They will play Williston State College on Friday, Dec. 6 at 4:30 pm and Western Oklahoma State College on Saturday, Dec. 7 at 4:30 pm. The Tigers will return home Wednesday, Dec. 11 to host Iowa Lakes Community College at 7:30 pm.
