Iowa Lakes may have been first on the board in yesterday's match up but the Marshalltown Community College Men's Soccer team took the win 2-1.

Iowa Lakes scored in the first couple of minutes of the game but MCC tied it up at the 16 minute mark with a goal by Lucas Fazzolari and an assist by Seonghwi Lee. Hiroki Tsuda sealed the win for the Tigers with a goal late in the second half with an assist by Sodai Koketsu.

The quick hands of Tiger goalie, Rayane El Mehdi, kept the Lakers to just one goal and six saves for the game. MCC fell 1-0 in the first match up against Iowa Lakes earlier in the season.

MCC is now 4-4-1 and 2-2 in the conference for the season and will travel to Iowa Central on Tuesday, Oct. 4 for a 1 pm game.
