Learn and work with Marshalltown Community College Esports coaching staff to improve your game at the upcoming Esports Summer Day Camp! Located on the MCC Campus, choose from one, two or three days to attend the August 1st - 3rd camp.
Camp is open to all 7th-12th grade students and 2023 graduates. Students will experience group and direct title coaching aimed at improving gameplay and strategy. Campers will also have the opportunity to shoutcast and produce livestreams.
Cost is $50 per day, or $100 for all 3 days. Priority registration will be given to those who sign up for all 3 days. Lunch will be provided each day. Spaces are limited to the first 50 students each day. 100% of the proceeds from the camp will go towards scholarships for MCC esports students.
Game Titles that will be played during the camp include Mario Kart 8 DX (Nintendo Switch); Super Smash Bros. Ultimate (Nintendo Switch); Overwatch 2 (PC); and Fortnite (PC).
