The Marshalltown Community College softball team will host a hitting and skills camp on Jan. 4 on the campus of MCC in the Babe Harder Gymnasium. The camp will feature two sessions- a youth clinic for participants aged 10 through 8th grade and an second session for athletes in grades 9-12.
The first clinic will be held from 8:30 AM until 10:30 AM with check in set for 8:00 AM. The second session will get underway at 11:00 AM and will run until 1:00 PM. Check in is slated for 10:00 AM.
The clinic is designed to provide instruction on all aspects of the game of softball. Specific areas of focus include footwork and hitting.
The cost of the clinic is $25. Cash or check can be made payable to the IVCCD.
