Campbell and Walton lead Tigers to the win

Tarah Campbell and Jada Walton combined for over half of the Tiger Women's Basketball teams points in their 57-49 win over Faith Baptist Bible College on Monday, Dec. 11.

Campbell, a sophomore from Las Vegas, NV, led the team with 17 points, shooting 6-8 from the field and 5-6 from the free throw line. She also led the Tigers in rebounds with 12 boards. She was followed closely by Walton, a freshman from Carthage, TX who had 16 points as well as five steals for the night.

Scoring was pretty even throughout the game. The big push for the Tigers came in the second quarter as they outscored Faith Baptist 16-2.

Other Tigers that contributed points in the win included: Destiny Sao-Martinez with 9, Ekin Taciroglu with 5, Nyajah Orr with 4 and Paris Southern and Abigail Rivera each with 3 points.

The Tigers will be on the road to finish out the week traveling to NIACC on Wednesday, Dec. 13 and Kirkwood on Saturday, Dec. 16.
