The Marshalltown Community College women's soccer team suffered a tough loss on Monday, Sept. 16, falling to Faith Baptist Bible College 7-1 in Marshalltown.
Despite a strong effort, the Tigers were unable to keep pace with the visiting Eagles. Tasia Eicher provided a spark for MCC, scoring the lone goal of the game in the 44th minute of the first half.
Giovanna De Carvalho Da Silva Damiana stood tall in goal for the Tigers, making 8 saves. MCC finished the game with 5 shots, 3 on goal.
The Tigers will look to bounce back on Saturday, Sept. 21 when they host Northwest Iowa Community College at 3:30 pm.
