Anna Jaumandreu was the lone sophomore for the MCC Women's Basketball team. After graduating with her associate's degree from MCC, Jaumandreu recently solidified her plans for her time after Marshalltown.

The 5'8 native of Barcelona, Spain recently committed to continue her education and basketball career at Simpson University in Redding, CA.

Tiger Head Coach, Steve Garber, will miss her leadership next season, but is looking forward to her continued success on the court and in the classroom. "Anna gave us the most consistent efforts during her two years here at Marshalltown Community College. Her maturity with consistency as a student and as an athlete will be missed sorely" said Garber. "Her work ethic during her time here was second to none and that was appreciated and will be remembered. We wish her the best as she moves on to the next chapter in her journey at Simpson University."

Last season, The Red Hawks finished the season with a record of 18-12. They are coached by Derrick Pringle Jr. who has been at Simpson since 2007
