  • Oscar Kao Signs with Southeast Missouri State University

    Marshalltown, IA – The Marshalltown Community College men’s basketball team has sent another player to the division I ranks as freshman guard, Oscar Kao will take his talents to Southeast Missouri State University. The 6’0 guard from Taipei, Taiwan provided highlight reel plays all season long for the Tigers, averaging over 13 points a game. An efficient shooter, Kao shot 44.3 percent from the field and 39 percent from behind the three-point arc earning him Second Team All-Region honors.
  • Shaena Robinson Signs with the University of Northern Colorado

    Marshalltown Community College’s Shaena Robinson has decided to continue her education and athletic career at the University of Northern Colorado. Robinson has been a dominant player for the Tigers the last two years, earning 1st Team All-Region honors both seasons, and earned ICCAC Offensive Player of the Year along with a 2nd-Team All-American nod by the NJCAA as a freshman.
  • Alyssa Roth Signs with Hastings College

    Another women’s basketball player has decided to take her talents to the four-year level as sophomore, Alyssa Roth, has signed her National Letter of Intent to play at Hastings College in Hastings, Nebraska. Roth was a dynamic player for the Tigers, finishing second in the ICCAC in scoring with 13.1 points per game while also grabbing 5.2 rebounds per game. The 5-7 guard from Clinton, Iowa provided consistent scoring for the Tigers, shooting 41.6% from the field and 35.5 % from behind the three-point arc.
  • Mohamed Thiam Signs With New Mexico State

    Marshalltown Community College’s Mohamed Thiam has decided to further his education and playing career at New Mexico State University. The 6’9 Forward from Dakar, Senegal has played in 59 games as a Tiger, averaging 19.7 points a game in his sophomore season and grabbing just over 9 rebounds a game. The standout forward shot 47.1% from the field and totaled 1005 points in his career. He capped off his career with a Third Team All-American nod from the NJCAA. Thiam entered the 2017-18 season ranked at the #6 JUCO prospect and the #1 forward in the nation by JUCOrecruiting.com.
  • Claudia Morente Signs with Upper Iowa University

    Claudia Morente, a sophomore on the Marshalltown Community College women’s basketball team, has signed to continue her career at Upper Iowa University. Morente has been a consistent starter for the Tigers the last two years, starting in all 59 games and averaging over 38 minutes a game. The 5’5 guard has been an efficient facilitator of the court while averaging just under ten points per game.
  • Two Tigers Headed to Concordia University Nebraska

    A pair of Tiger soccer players have decided to take their talents to Concordia University in the fall as Andre Santos and Roger De la Villa both signed to play soccer for the Bulldogs. Both players were two-year starts for the Tiger soccer team with Andre Santos playing in 34 games with 27 starts and Roger De la Villa playing in 35 games with 24 starts. The two played on opposite ends of the field as Santos was a stand out on defense and De la Villa was a contributing member of the high scoring group of forwards for the Tigers.
  • Eneko Lasheras Heads to Florida Southern

    Marshalltown Community College Men’s Soccer player, Eneko Lasheras, has decided to continue his athletic and academic career in Lakeland, Florida at Florida Southern College. Lasheras played in 36 games while starting in 32 as a Tiger. He spend his time controlling the middle of the field as a dominant mid fielder in the ICCAC recorded eleven assists, scored nine goal, two being game winners.
