Tiger men netted another win on the road Tuesday, Oct. 4 as they defeated Iowa Central 1-0 giving Marshalltown Community College men's soccer team back-to-back conference wins.
In a game plagued by penalties with three yellow cards for each team, the Tigers only needed one for the win. Lucas Fazzolari scored the only goal of the game at the 11-minute mark with an assist from Sodai Koketsu.
Rayane El Mehdi protected the goal for the Tigers with a shutout, finishing the game with 10 saves.
MCC is now 5-4-1 overall and 3-2 in the conference. They will be on the road again for their next two games, traveling to Grand View on Thursday, Oct. 6 at 4 pm and Indian Hills on Sunday, Oct. 9 at 1 pm.
