Marshalltown Community College softball stand out Paige Westlin continues to receive honors even after the season is complete. Westlin was named NJCAA Third Team All-American, First Team All-Region, and Second Team All-American by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA).
NFCA All-Region and All-American athletes must be nominated by their NFCA-member head coach, are voted for by the coaches in their region or division, and ultimately selected by elected All-American committee members to receive this prestigious accolade. These honorees are in the top 1% of student-athletes competing during the 2021 season. All-Region honorees are determined by voting by Iowa softball coaches and All-American by softball coaches throughout the country.
Westlin, a freshman this past year at MCC, is from Eldridge, IA. She played both catcher and third base for the Tigers. She had a .479 batting average, 52 RBI's and 19 homeruns.
