The Marshalltown Community College men's soccer team is on a five-game winning streak. They started conference play this past Saturday, Sept. 21 as they hosted Northwest Iowa Community College with a dominant 3-1 win. 

Angel Vasquez opened the scoring in the 2nd minute of the game. The Tigers controlled possession and added to the lead late in the first half with Mikiya Fujii converting a penalty kick in the 40th min.

Fujii tallied his second goal in the second half off an assist from Sonosuke Kakizaki. Northwest found the back of the net just once during the game, late in the second half.

The Tigers are now 5-1-1 for the season and will host Southeastern on Wednesday, Sept. 25 at 1 pm.
