MARSHALLTOWN – Marshalltown Community College women's basketball is proud to announce that two members of the squad received DII Iowa Community College Athletic Association Conference (ICCAC) All-Region honors.

Shenell Stewart, of Nassau, Bahamas, received All-Region Second Team honors. Stewart, a freshman guard for the Tigers, averaged 13.2 points per game as well as 6.8 rebounds and 2 assists per game.

Mia Sao-Martinez, of Las Vegas, NV, received ICCAC All-Region Third Team honors. Sao-Martinez averaged 11.5 points per game and shot 30.1% field goal percentage, 27.2% from 3-point range, and 78.9% from the free throw line.
