The Marshalltown Community College Women's Volleyball Team has announced its schedule for the 2017 season. The Tigers are coming off of season that saw them improve to 12 wins up from 4 during the 2015 season.

The 37 game slate for the Tigers in 2017 features two tournaments as well as two triangulars at North Iowa Area Community College (NIACC) and two home triangulars. The Tigers will also take on Iowa Community College Athletic Conference (ICCAC) foes Iowa Western Community College and Indian Hills Community College both home and away.

After a preseason scrimmage, the 2017 regular season campaign opens up at home on August 22^nd, with a match against Ellsworth Community College. The Tigers then go on the road for an overnight tournament at St. Cloud Technical and Community College on Friday, August 25^th and Saturday, August 26^th. While at St. Cloud Tech, they will face Mesabi Range, Dakota College at Bottineau, Dakota County Technical College, and St. Cloud Tech.

The Tigers will make a brief stop in Des Moines to take on the Grand View University JV on Monday, August 28^th before traveling to Norfolk, Nebraska to compete in the Northeast Community College Invitational on Friday, September 1^st and Saturday, September 2^nd. While at Northeast, they will face the likes of Southeast Community College, Central Community College, and two teams to be announced.

Conference play opens up on September 5^th as the Tigers will travel to Council Bluffs to square off against Iowa Western Community College. They then return home for two home matches on September 7^th (William Penn University JV) and September 13^th (Iowa Central CC) before travelling to the first of two NIACC triangular showdowns on September 17th.

The Tiger Triangulars will be played on Friday, September 29^th as Dakota County Technical College and Southwestern Community College will come to town.  The second Tiger Triangular will be played on Saturday, October 14^th and will feature the Tigers against Grandview University JV and Southeast Community College out of Beatrice, Nebraska.

The home slate will conclude on Saturday, October 28^th against Iowa Lakes Community College. The Tigers travel to Ellsworth Community College on October 30^th to wrap up the regular season. The Region XI/District J tournament will be played on November 3^rd and 4^th and will be hosted by the highest seeded team based on regular season standings.

Home contests and a majority of road matches will be streamed live online and live statistics will also be provided throughout the year.
