BOONE — Marshalltown Community College sophomore point guard Antwan Bridgett was named an Iowa Community College Athletic Conference Athlete of the Week, the league office announced Monday.
Bridgett played 29 minutes in MCC's season-opening men's basketball victory over Iowa Lakes in Estherville, shooting 7-of-12 from the field on his way to a team-high 17 points in a 78-66 win over the 13th-ranked Lakers.
Bridgett also had six steals, five rebounds (four offensive) and five assists in the win.
