Marshalltown Community College Men's Basketball, Ahmed Ibrahim, has been named Division I Iowa Community College Athletic Conference (ICCAC) Athlete of the Week for the week of February 3-9.

Ibrahim played in two games this past week for MCC and averaged a double-double. In total, he collected 29 points, 24 rebounds, five assists and three blocks.

In the first game of last week Ibrahim scored 15 points, grabbed nine boards and collected five assists as they beat conference opponent Southeastern 69-60. In the second game the Tigers dropped a tightly contested 79-74 game against NIACC. In the NIACC game, Ibrahim had a double-double with 14 points and 15 rebounds. In addition, he had three blocks.

The Tigers are scheduled to be at home this coming Saturday as they host Ellsworth Community College at 3 pm.
