The Marshalltown Community College men's basketball team snapped a four-game losing skid with Monday's 96-50 romp over the Cornell College junior varsity.
The Tigers (8-11), who had won once in their last 11 games, led the visiting Rams by 30 points by halftime and cruised to the non-conference victory.
Ahmed Ibrahim led MCC with 16 points on 8-of-9 shooting from the field. John Harrington had 14 points off the bench, Justice Small scored 13 points, and Isaiah Monroe chipped in 12 points in a reserve role.
Richard Udoagwa led the Tigers with 11 rebounds and Ibrahim had 10 boards as MCC commanded a 51-36 advantage on the glass. Antwan Bridgett handed out six assists, Small made three steals, and the Tigers breezed to their first win since Dec. 14, 2024.
Rayce Snyder scored a game-high 17 points off the bench to lead Cornell.
MCC returns to action Wednesday night with a conference game against Southeastern at 7 p.m. in West Burlington.
