MCC Men’s Basketball earns All-Region Honors

Marshalltown Community College men's basketball is proud to announce that four members of the squad received DI Iowa Community College Athletic Association Conference (ICCAC) All-Region honors.

Justice Small received First Team All-Region honors. Small led the conference in rebounds per game with 6.9, while tying for the top spot in points per game with 15. He also shot 50.4 percent from the field. Small's top performance came at the end of January in a game against Sauk Valley, where he scored 23 points, grabbed 10 rebounds, and limited his turnovers to just two.

Tre'von Coney was awarded Second Team All-Region honors. Coney averaged over 10 points per game and 2.4 assists per game. He also shot 42.9 percent from the field and 65.3 percent from the free throw line.

Rounding out the Tigers All-Region honors were Jayden Hill and Ahmed Ibrahim who received Honorable Mention. Hill averaged 11 points per game and shot 79.7 from the free throw line and 33.3 percent from the 3-point range. Ibrahim averaged 9.5 points per game and 6.1 rebounds per game for the season.
