Marshalltown, IA – Head Coach Steve Garber announced Friday, the addition of Lotte Van Malsen to the women's basketball team for the 2018-19 season. Van Malsen has played her prep career at Vladas Knasiaus Basketball School in Lithuanian and spent seven years playing for High Five in Tilburg, Netherlands.

"Lotte will give us depth at the guard position with some ball-handling and shooting skills," stated Coach Garber. "Her maturity will allow her to grow and develop quickly in our system". 

While at MCC, Van Malsen plans to major in Athletic Training. The women's basketball team will report to campus Saturday, August 24, just in time for classes to start on Monday, August 27 with workouts beginning shortly after.
