Marshalltown Community College has two athletes that received Iowa Community College Athletic Conference (ICCAC) Athlete of the Week for the week of March 1^st-7^th. Honorees include MCC women's basketball player Eva Zaragoza and softball's Maggie Harrison.

Zaragoza had career-highs in points and rebounds last week. She posted a career-high 27 points against Southwestern, eclipsing her previous best of 20. She also tied a career-best 13 rebounds in the same game, a mark she set in the first game of the season. In her two games this week Zaragoza averaged 20 points, 12 rebounds, and a steal per game while shooting over 50% from the field. She leads the Tigers in both scoring and rebounding this season at 12.8 points and 8.1 rebounds per game. 

Freshman, Harrison, went six for seven at the plate in the two games she played in against Fort Scott (KS). Overall, she hit .636 in four games last week with two doubles and four RBI. Harrison has also been running the bases very well. Last week she stole three bases to put her season total at seven.
