Marshalltown Community College Women's Basketball Coach Cody Freland, announced that last year's First Team All-Region player Eva Zaragoza has signed to play at NCAA Division II Embry-Riddle in Daytona Beach, FL.  

Zaragoza led the Tigers in scoring averaging 12.5 points per game while also adding 6.7 rebounds and shooting 31.4 percent from the three-point line.

"We are really excited for Eva, as she really took a jump from her first to second year and was a true leader on the team this year," commented Freland. 

Zaragoza leaves MCC with a career average of 9.3 points per game, 5.4 rebounds, while shooting 40 percent from the field and having shot 29.7 percent from the three-point line. She was also a four-time First Team All-Academic player along with collecting a First Team All-Region selection for this past season.
