Marshalltown Community College soccer player Yushi Nagao from Tokyo, Japan has been named Iowa Community College Athletic Conference Athlete of the Week for the week of Oct. 21-27.
The Tigers won two games last week including the Region XI Tournament game over Iowa Central. During the 7-1 win over Graceland JV Nagao had two goals. He also scored a goal to put the Tigers up 2-0 in the 73rdminute in the Regional game against Iowa Central. He also assisted in the first goal of the game.
In the second half of the Tigers season, Nagao has scored 7 of his 8 goals in the last seven games.
