Karisma Wright joins MCC basketball team
April 21, 2020The Marshalltown Community College women’s basketball team is looking to build their roster after losing seven sophomores this past season. Karisma Wright from Des Moines Roosevelt, has signed with the Tigers for the 2020 season. -
Tiger women end 2019-20 season
March 03, 2020The Marshalltown Community College Tiger women’s basketball team ended their season on Wednesday, February 26 in Norfolk, NE losing to the Northeast Hawks 74 to 40 in the First Round of the Region XI Tournament.

Two MCC Women’s Basketball players earn All-Region Honors
March 03, 2020Marshalltown Community College Tiger women’s basketball is proud to announce that two players received DI Iowa Community College Athletic Association Conference (ICCAC) All-Region honors. Guard Dana Stokes was named First Team All-Region and forward Laurin Lyons was named Honorable Mention All-Region.

MCC women finish regular season
February 24, 2020The 2019-20 regular season has come to an end for Marshalltown Community College women’s basketball team. MCC hosted two home games this past week, falling to Grand View JV 84-56 on Monday, Feb. 17 and coming up short 79-66 to Southeastern Community College on Sophomore night, Saturday, Feb. 22.

February 03, 2020Marshalltown Community College women’s basketball team hosted DMACC for the 3rd meeting between the two teams this season on Monday, Jan. 27. Both teams having won on their home floor thus far. MCC came out ahead with a 61-60 win in the rubber match.

January 27, 2020The Marshalltown Community College women’s basketball team hosted two games the week of Jan. 20 and found similar results stemming from the offensive end.

MCC women drop two conference games
January 20, 2020The MCC women’s basketball team played its first two conference games this week and came up short. The offense was struggling throughout both games, only scoring 34 points in Wednesday’s loss to Iowa Western and 47 points against Northeast Nebraska.

January 13, 2020The Marshalltown Community College women’s basketball team hasn’t played a game since Dec. 11 due to the holiday break. They opened up the second half of their season with a 94-43 win on Tuesday, Jan. 7 over Graceland University JV.

December 10, 2019The Marshalltown Community College women’s basketball team fell in two games this week losing 78-67 to North Central Missouri College on Saturday, Dec. 7 and 81-68 on Tuesday, Dec. 9 to Southwestern Community College.

Tiger women split at Emerson Classic
November 25, 2019Marshalltown Community College women’s basketball team hosted the Emerson Classic on Nov. 15 and 16. The Tiger women went 1 and 1 defeating DMACC 68 to 64 and losing to Iowa Lakes 72 to 49. The Tigers record after the weekend was 2-6.

November 25, 2019The Tiger women had a successful week picking up two wins over County Upper Basketball Academy (77-43) on Nov. 21 and Ellsworth Community College (85-52) on Nov. 23.

MCC women’s basketball splits over weekend
November 11, 2019Marshalltown Community College women’s basketball team traveled to Mason City to compete in the Konigsmark Klassic at NIACC. The Tigers came away with a win 75-53 win over Ellsworth Community College and a 91-38 lost to NIACC.
