Marshalltown Community College baseball player Edwin De Los Santos Moreno from Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic has been named Iowa Community College Athletic Conference Athlete of the Week for the week of February 22-28.  

The MCC Tigers opened their season this past weekend and in their 4-1 victory over Cloud County Community College, freshman left-handed pitcher, Moreno made his collegiate appearance. 

He was able to rack up seven strikeouts and just one walk. It was his first start of the season, giving him a season record of 1-0 and an ERA of 1.50.
