Tigers Split with the Blackhawks

The Tiger baseball team split their double-header Wednesday, April 14 when they hosted Southeastern Community College with the Tigers taking game two in an exciting 9-8 win. 

A late surge by Southeastern in game one put the Spartans ahead in the late innings by scoring two runs in the 6th and 7th. Nolan Vlcek pitched six innings, only giving up one earned run while having eight strikeouts. The Tigers fell with a final 4-0 score.

In the exciting 9-8 victory for the Tigers in game two, the MCC offense had nine runs on ten hits while Bryan Morales went 3-5 with a home run. Gage Juhlin and Mondre Lagow had two RBI's on the day. Sam Tyrpa went six innings with four strikeouts.
