Marshalltown Community College freshman baseball player Ernesto Moreno Jr. from Chicago, IL has been named Iowa Community College Athletic Conference (ICCAC) Athlete of the Week for the week of April 12-18. 

Moreno batted .409 last week (9-22), and came up with some timely hits in the process. He had four extra base hits; two doubles, a triple, and a home run. But none of those were as good as his walk off single to give the Tigers a 6-5 win over Southwestern. He scored four times and drove in four runs.
