Marshalltown Community College freshman baseball player Luke Pell from Joliet, IL has been named Iowa Community College Athletic Conference (ICCAC) Athlete of the Week for the week of April 26 – May 2. 

Pell had one of the best weeks of his MCC career with his bat sizzling. In 28 at bats, he recorded 12 hits, six of them for extra bases and was walked seven times. With three home runs and two doubles it shouldn't be a surprise that the right fielder was able to drive in 13 runs. He also scored 13 runs himself.
