Tiger women fall at Iowa Western
Playing in their first game in over a week due to COVID protocols, the Marshalltown Community College women’s basketball team traveled to Iowa Western where they lost 92 to 36.

Playing in their first game in over a week due to COVID protocols, the Marshalltown Community College women's basketball team traveled to Iowa Western where they lost 92 to 36.
Having only six players available to play, the Tiger women battled throughout and played hard on the contest. The leading scorer for MCC was Eva Zaragoza who finished with 10 points and looked to be aggressive against the Reiver bigs. The guard trio of Heeni Blakey, Genet Mebratu, and Carla Dorta-Perez also had strong performances with Blakey finishing with 8 and Mebratu and Dorta-Perez each adding 7 points.
The Tiger women travel to Fort Dodge to take on Iowa Central on Saturday, February 20th for a 1 pm tip-off.
