Two MCC Women’s Basketball players earn All-Region Honors
Marshalltown Community College Tiger women’s basketball is proud to announce that two players received DI Iowa Community College Athletic Association Conference (ICCAC) All-Region honors. Forward/Center Eva Zaragoza was named First Team All-Region and guard Nuria Castillo was named Honorable Mention All-Region.
Marshalltown Community College Tiger women's basketball is proud to announce that two players received DI Iowa Community College Athletic Association Conference (ICCAC) All-Region honors. Forward/Center Eva Zaragoza was named First Team All-Region and guard Nuria Castillo was named Honorable Mention All-Region.
Zaragoza, a sophomore from Madrid, Spain, led the Tigers in scoring averaging 12.7 points per game and was second on the team in rebounding averaging 6.6 per game.
Castillo, a sophomore from Barcelona, Spain averaged 6.5 points per game and shot over 82% from the free-throw line.
