EMERSON CLASSIC TOURNAMENT HOMEPAGE

The Marshalltown Community College men's and women's basketball teams will host the 2016 Emerson Classic this weekend at the Student Activity Center. Six teams will venture to Marshalltown for the eight-game event

Friday afternoon will feature four games throughout the day. The Des Moines Area Community College women's basketball team will take on Kansas City Kansas Community College at 1:00 PM. The Highland Community College men's basketball team and Quakerdale Prep Academy will square at 3:00 PM.

The 5:00 PM game on Friday pits the MCC women's team vs. William Penn JV while the MCC men's team will conclude the opening day against St. John's Northwestern Military Academy (WI) at 7:00 PM.

Saturday afternoon opens up with a women's game between DMACC and William Penn JV at 1:00 PM followed by a men's game between Quakerdale and St. John's. The MCC women play their final game of the weekend against Kanas City Kansas CC at 5:00 PM and the conclusion of the weekend features the MCC men and Highland men at 7:00 PM.
