The Iowa Community College Athletic Conference has selected Marshalltown Community College's Kino Ryosuke as the Men's Soccer Athlete of the Week. Ryosuke is effective around the goal, as he has scored on 60% of his shots so far this season. Ryosuke is the Tigers leading scorer with eight goals with three coming last week against Hawkeye Community College and Iowa Central Community College. The 5'7 155 lbs. sophomore is consistently found around the net with two assist and two game winning goals on the season.

"Kino continues to be an instrumental part of this team," stated Head Coach Rafael Martinez, "not only with his goals but with his work. He understands his role in the team and the group understands how he can help us. Things are going well and I am sure they will continue to get better as the season progresses."

Ryosuke and the rest of the men's soccer team will look to continue their success this week when they take on Scott Community College on Wednesday at 4:00 PM. The team will also travel to Spencer Iowa on Saturday to take on the Lakers of Iowa Lakes Community College at 2:00 PM.
