2014 Tiger Invitational Homepage
The Marshalltown Community College volleyball team is set to host the 2014 Tiger Invitational this weekend, as eight teams travel to the Student Activity Center for the two-day event.
The Tigers welcome Division II Region XI members Des Moines Area Community College, North Iowa Area Community College, and Southwestern Community College. Three teams from Region 6 will make the trek to Marshalltown- Allen Community College, Fort Scott Community College, and Neosho County Community College. Rounding out the invite will be Lincoln Land Community College of Region 24 and Graceland University JV.
All eight teams participated in the 2013 Tiger Invitational that saw the Tigers win five of their six matches. MCC will open up play on Friday at 11:00 AM against DMACC and against Graceland JV at 3:00 PM. On Saturday, MCC will face Allen at 11:00 AM and Neosho County at 1:00 PM.
Live video coverage of all MCC contests will be streamed online.
Tickets to the invite will be $6.00 per day or $10.00 for a weekend tournament pass. Concessions will be available as well.
