The Marshalltown Community College Women's Basketball team has signed Ryan Roberts of South Tama High School to a National Letter of Intent for the 2016-17 season.
Roberts played in 23 games as a senior for South Tama where she was awarded the E. Wayne Cooley "You Can" Athlete Award.
MCC head coach Steve Garber will look to Roberts to fill key holes next season. "Ryan will help supplement our outside scoring with her three-point shooting ability that was missing this past season," Garber exclaimed. "She will be able to get up and down the floor like we want to help in our transition game both offensively and defensively and show the work ethic that is needed at our level."
